Objectives:

To promote the welfare of children in home, school, and community.

To bring into closer relation the home and school, that parents and teachers may cooperate respectfully in the education of children.

To develope among educators, families and the community, united efforts that will secure for all children the highest advantages in physical, mental, and social education.
JESA-PTO are parents and guardians who work together with the staff to make Jackson School a fun and interesting place for the students to learn. We provide treats for parties (and other events), sponsor class field trips, sponsor fundraising events, sponsor class pictures, sponsor a 5th grade trip and party, the end-of-year game day, provide a patrol breakfast and host two luncheons for Jackson Teachers and Staff.

Board meetings are scheduled the second Thursday of each month at 2:00 pm. These meetings give PTO members the opportunity to learn about upcoming volunteering opportunities.
PTO Membership:
Membership dues are $3.00 ($5.00 for 2 people). With membership, you can become a voting member on some JESA-PTO issues, become a grade parent, or help out in many other ways.
*Please note: You must be a PTO member of Jackson School for the current school year to help with any PTO functions or to be a grade parent. The class with the most memberships will receive a party. The deadline for joining the PTO and participating in activities is September 20, 2007.
